This is an old revision of the document!
We are located in Room 207 of the RIKEN Brain Science Institute's East Building in Wako, Japan (a 14 minute subway ride away from Ikebukuro in Tokyo).
After arriving at Narita airport you have several choices to get into the city:
Here is a map that shows the possible connections. Ikebukuro is the closest station to switch to the Tobu-tojo or Yurakucho subway lines to get to Wakoshi where RIKEN is located:
To get to Wakoshi, you can take the Tobu-tojo line from Ikebukuro (Runs frequent express and semi-express trains that make only one stop at Narimasu before arriving in Wakoshi – taking 14 minutes) or the Yurakucho or Fukutoshin subway line.

If you know the time of your arrival, you can get exact scheduling information from hyperdia.com. As your start point, put in “Narita airport” and as your destination, put in Wakoshi. Hyperdia is a very useful site for planning any subway or train travel within Japan.
It is a 15-20 minute walk from the South exit of the Wakoshi train station to the RIKEN campus. Make sure to check in at the guard station at the entrance of the RIKEN campus. See here for more information on walking to RIKEN from wakoshi station and for a map of campus.
